Jan originally played classical guitar, but along the way he switched to bass and eventually double-bass. He can probably outplay both Ulf and me on guitar, but as a sort of consolation, we let him play ukulele on some songs.
    Jan is a very versatile and patient musician, which certainly helps, if you are playing with me!
    Jan has played with all sorts of groups over the years, but his other main commitment has always been Bo-Östen Svensson's 2nd Afro Temple, a outfit specializing in the many Afro-American musical traditions.
