Håkan and I asked Hasse Bruniusson to join us in forming The Remin' Circus in the summer of 2003. Our earlier groups (Starflesh and The Remin' Ensemble, cf link at bottom) have avoided the rhythmic element that a percussionist like Hasse will add. Improvising with Hasse and Håkan is a pure experience, because both of them are dedicatedly different in their approach, yet they have worked together for more than a decade. Here then, is a group where we can explore the relativistic aspects of modern musical aesthetics, so to speak.

In April 2004, The Remin' Circus visited St. Petersburg in Russia to perform at the annual SKIF festival and at the experimental music club GEZ21. It was a first time for Hasse, but Håkan and I had been there last year, too. We are much honoured to have been invited to the festival two years standing!
